This case study describes an actual Intelligence2day customer case of a large European Technical consultancy firm with a global reach.
The company’s Competitive Intelligence team used to create their competitive intelligence reports by collecting information manually online. Once the company collected all the information from industry and competitor websites, the team manually created a weekly competitive intelligence report. This was done by copying and pasting the information found into a document. This was a very time consuming and repetitive task for the team.
The company wanted to find a way to collect, analyze and easily share insights with stakeholders. To save time, the process also needed to be largely automated.
To summarize, the company wanted to:
- Find a way to cut down the time spent on collecting external information and to gather it in one place.
- Save time analyzing the information and competitors’ activities
- Streamline and automate the process of creating reports
