Comintelli today announced that Ingemar Svensson will join Comintelli as Senior Advisor to help customers maximize the value of their intelligence systems.
Ingemar Svensson is an experienced competitive intelligence professional that worked with strategic and tactical intelligence within Ericsson and the ICT industry between 2008-2018. Prior to that he lived ten years in Latin America working within the telecoms industry, also with Ericsson.
He will greatly help organizations to simplify practical intelligence work by acting as a link between IT and operations. His services will include project support, needs analysis, situation analysis, forward looking analysis, competitive intelligence training and support.

About Ingemar Svensson
Ingemar Svensson is an experienced and passionate competitive intelligence professional and presenter, with a degree of Master of Science in Business Administration and Economics from Linköping University.
As Director of Competitive Intelligence, he was responsible for competitive intelligence work within several business units at Ericsson. The work implied analyzing and disseminating insights on industry trends and players, and to provide ad hoc support in decision making. A key aspect of his work was to question assumptions and adding perspective.
Some of his accomplishments:
- Conducted various projects identifying competitors’ most likely strategic decisions.
- Created and ran a competitive intelligence training program.
- Ran scenario planning projects for different stakeholders.
- Supported strategic planning and M&A process with input on industry players.
He is an active interim board member for the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals’ (SCIP) Nordic/Baltic branch and has been certified to a master’s level (CIP-II) at the prestigious Fuld-Gilad Herring Academy of Competitive Intelligence. He has made several presentations at external events, e.g Nordic Intelligence Day and Beslutsstödsdagen.
