SCIP 2019 Highlights
From the Age of Collectors to the Age of Augmented Intelligence
Comintelli recently came back from the annual conference for Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) held between May 6-9 in Orlando, US. Some of the conference highlights included Comintelli CEO, Jesper Martell, moderating the interactive session “From the Age of Collectors to the Age of Augmented Intelligence”, together with the Chairman of SCIP, Mr. Paul Santilli, also Worldwide OEM Industry Intelligence and Strategy at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
This thought provoking session started by highlighting some state of the industry technologies being used in CI today. Jesper and Paul then reviewed some of the drivers of the new age of intelligence tools. Finally, participants interactively explored new technology opportunities together, shared experiences and co-created a future road map for digital intelligence tools!
Providing Executive Insights through a Fact-Based Intelligence System
Another succesful session was a use case presented by Elizabeth Roberts, Global Head of Information Management at telecom giant Ericsson, titled “Providing Executive Insights through a Fact-Based Intelligence System”. Ericsson’s intelligence system aggregates diverse content sources into a single portal, which is globally accessible by all employees and empowers them to leverage market information for strategic decision making. Elizabeth did not only do live tour of Ericssons intelligence system, but also gave the audience tips on how to get end-users involved in CI, measures to ensure quality of sources, and showed them a structure to organize and process information.
Benefits & Challenges of CI Software & Technology
During lunch, Christian Bjersér, SVP Business Development at Comintelli moderated a lunch table discussion about “Benefits & Challenges of CI Software & Technology” where Christian also shared some best practices for implementing CI Portals, resulting in some interesting conversations.
Comintelli Anniversary Toast
Last but not least, Comintelli hosted an anniversary toast for all attendees to celebrate 20 years in business!
