Sweden, the world’s 4th most competitive nation!

MD (http://www.imd.org) has announced the results from the World Competetiveness Yearbook 2011, which places Sweden on number 4 on the list, underlining the fact that the nordic competitiveness model is working very well. USA and Hongkong were the most competitive countries, closely followed by Singapore; last years winner.
Stéphane Garelli, Director of IMD’s Competitiveness Center says “The world of competitiveness becomes more national. ‘World Competitiveness 2.0’ is thus characterized by a greater self-reliance of countries. It increasingly emphasizes re-industralization, exports and a more critical look at delocaliztion.”
